With my LO loving Thomas and trains right now, I figured I would get a start on ideas for his birthday invite.
Not sure why I haven’t stumbled upon this before but this site is AHHH-mazing! Also, I just applied to be a team member on the 2014 Craftaholics Anonymous Creative Team and if you are crafty, you should too!
Deadline is tomorrow, so get crack a’lackin!
Funny thing, when I told my husband what I named this blog he said it should have been something-aholics! hehe
After crocheting and knitting my fingers to the bone, I have completed my final paid project (I think) for this season!! Yay! With the sales from my hats and some other crafty projects, I made enough money to buy my kids’ entire Christmas! Amazing! I’m just so thankful that people ordered so many things and that my friends have been generous with sharing their love of my creations and bringing me so much business! You are awesome, friends. I love ya! I also did make quite a few things people ordered and just gifted them for the sheer love of seeing someone loving their hat!
Now, I have today to finish up 2 more hats for my brothers and 2 shirts that I’m making for my dad so I can mail them off tomorrow. What concerns me is that the postal system is a bit jammed up and I’m mailing out 2-3 priority mail to get to Arizona by tuesday! Here’s hoping!
So, here’s a round up of the completed projects for the last couple weeks.
Bearded Beanies for twins
Bane from Dark Knight Rises
And finally, how I package my creations for delivery. I also have a little thank you tag that I put on my bags.
I hope every one has been having a productive season as well! Now I’m going back to work!
Not that I’m worried or anything but it’s T-22 days until Christmas. I haven’t bought anything yet. I haven’t made anything yet for my family either. I’ve been busy filling orders. Tons of orders for soap, vinyl, hats and cards. I have 3 more craft shows to go for the year and about half dozen more hats to make in the next 2 weeks. I’m running a bit behind!
Here’s the latest hat I’ve made. I hemmed and hawed over whether I was going to knit it because sometimes knitting takes a bit but this hat worked up quite quickly. I love it. LOVE IT!
This is my oldest who kindly obliged to model it. My toddler refused! Although he loves his brother’s Minecraft hat.
Don’t mind his mess. He’s a very busy boy. In any case, he thinks this hat is great but no other!
In any case, while writing this post I just got another order for 2 bearded beanies. I’m a crafting machine!
Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving (those in the U.S.). We had turducken. It was amazing. I had some for lunch today. nom nom. Now, I need to get back to working my fingers to the bone!
